Julie has spent the majority of her physical therapy career in Private Orthopedic Outpatient settings, gravitating towards ski and destination towns. Her background is weighted heavily in manual and movement-based therapy targeting non-operative care, compensatory dysfunctions and the restoration of joint mechanics.

Personal injuries have steered Julie towards treatment of the shoulder, spine, knee, and hip. Looking deeper into root causes has broadened her practice to address breathwork, unwinding the nervous system, balancing the craniosacral system, as well as addressing the woefully overlooked feet. Her life and practice were transformed when she was exposed to Anatomy in Motion™ in 2015 and is now the only Physical Therapist in Oregon fully trained in and practicing Anatomy in Motion™.

As a physical therapist, Julie believes that we are more than a collection of parts and that there is a backstory to pain. She loves connecting the dots and trying to solve pain puzzles. Julie’s overarching goal is that her patients feel heard and helped.
